   9 Before you can provision a host to run OSDs or metadata servers, you must gather
  10 monitor keys and the OSD and MDS bootstrap keyrings. To gather keys, enter the
  11 following::

  13         ceph-deploy gatherkeys {monitor-host}

  16 .. note:: To retrieve the keys, you specify a host that has a
  17    Ceph monitor.

  19 .. note:: If you have specified multiple monitors in the setup of the cluster,
  20    make sure, that all monitors are up and running. If the monitors haven't
  21    formed quorum, ``ceph-create-keys`` will not finish and the keys are not
  22    generated.

  24 Forget Keys

  27 When you are no longer using ``ceph-deploy`` (or if you are recreating a
  28 cluster),  you should delete the keys in the local directory of your admin host.
  29 To delete keys, enter the following::
