   4 The Pharos specification defines the OPNFV hardware environment
   5 upon which the OPNFV Brahmaputra platform release can be deployed
   6 on and tested. This specification defines:

   8 - A secure, scalable, standard and HA environment
   9 - Supports the full Brahmaputra deployment lifecycle (this requires a bare metal environment)
  10 - Supports functional and performance testing of the Brahmaputra release
  11 - Provides mechanisms and procedures for secure remote access to the test environment

  13 Deploying Brahmaputra in a Virtualized environment is possible
  14 and will be useful, however it does not provide a fully
  15 featured deployment and test environment for the Brahmaputra
  16 release of OPNFV.
